CDE502 series high-power wall-mounted VFD

Product parameters:
The CDE502 series VFDs are a type of wall-mounted VFDs designed to meet customers’ installation requirements on high-power (160 kW and above) VFD cabinets. VFDs under this series are structured into top inlet and bottom outlet for wiring.
Scope of application:
Widely used in textile, paper making, wiredrawing, packaging, food and other industries, and perfectly applicable to occasions like multiple-pump constant pressure water supply, cooling fans, compressors, ventilators of subways and tunnels, A/C, sewage treatment, etc.

  On-line parameter self-adjustment: keeps tracking the change in motor characteristics during running to perform highly accurate speed control.

1.2.3 Expected instantaneous power cut

         Revs tracking function, best suitable to fluid machinery with revolving parts, e.g. exhaust fans, blowers, etc.

Non-stop operation during instantaneous power failure, for the power cut of production lines such as film, saves special equipment like UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). This function performs instantaneous power cut compensation when low voltage is detected.

1.2.4 Dual specifications making machines more compact.

        By employing a single VFD, you can make your choice between light load (120%) and heavy load (150%). On some occasions, a VFD of a lower class may be employed based on the applications of the motor.

1.  2.5 Easy commissioning

Through Application Selection function, the most suitable parameters will be automatically set for you by easily choosing the application of the machine. This helps you shorten the commissioning time.

1.2.6 Reliable braking function

Three braking modes for your choice: DC injection braking, magnetic flux braking and dynamic braking.

Through the overexcitation braking function, an emergency braking is possible even without a braking resistor.

The capacity of the built-in dynamic braking IGBT is extended. By installing additional braking resistors, greater braking ability will be provided.

1.2.7 A parameter copying function is built in the standard keyboard, allows uploading and downloading of parameters.

1.2.8 Auxiliary tools xPowerTool and xLoaderTool

xPowerTool monitors the VFD status in a real-time manner and configures its parameters to control the running of the VFD. With the assistance of a computer, you can manage the parameters more than one VFDs simultaneously.

(1) Provided with diverse functions such as monitoring, parameter editing, profile running, producing oscillating quantity, etc. to make the commissioning and maintenance of VFDs easier. The function of automatically converting parameters from an older product saves you parameter setting in case of replacing a VFD or replacement resulted by a fault.

1.2.9 Supporting master-slave control

 The VFD itself may be set as a master or slave.

 Set as a master: you can choose the synchronized reference quantity from reference frequency, running frequency or torque reference.

 Set as a slave: you can set the slave whether to follow the running commands from the host or not

The VFD supports droop control and allows multiple motors to drive the load allocation control under the same load.

1.2.10 Supporting standard braking logic and other safe shutdown function.
